Jurys Inn is a well-known hotel group that operates in the UK, Ireland, and Czech Republic. With 36 locations under the Jurys Inn brand and 7 under the Leonardo brand, the company manages a total of 38 hotels in the UK, four in Ireland, and one in the Czech Republic. These hotels provide comfortable accommodation for travelers, with a total of 7,500 rooms and a staff of 4,000.

Project

  • Project management of Salesforce integration.

Objective

  • Project manage the integration of Jurys and Leonardo Hotels UK with the Leonardo Hotels European salesforce system.

  • Create a comprehensive way of working and a training program to train the whole UK sales team.

Success Criteria

  • An integrated and activated Salesforce system for use across the UK business.

  • A team of fully trained super users to support the launch and ongoing training needs of the business.

  • The entire UK sales team is to be trained, engaged and confident working with the system.

Action

  • Create project plan and lead a weekly sales call to engage the senior sales leadership and various internal third parties keeping them updated with all activity.

  • Liaise with the European sales leaders ensuring all variations and changes were approved for use in the UK system.

  • All users added, licenses created, and system access granted ready for training.

  • Integration of significant volume of data to Salesforce from several sources working closely with the Sales Analyst and ensuring compliance with GDPR.

  • Ways of working for the sales team implemented to ensure consistency.

  • Training plan written in collaboration with the Sales Analyst who was supporting as the main sponsor throughout the project.

  • Five super users identified from several regions and trained first.  This allowed a trial of the training and also gained support when the training was being carried out.

Result

  • Five further training dates carried out across the UK to capture the nationwide team.
